Extensive experience as high school geography teacher and business studies teacher in New Zealand and Australia, year adviser and with a keen interest in student welfare and restorative justice processes. Currently employed as faculty officer and researcher. Has served for 3 years on the Friends’ School Board of Governors.

Professional violinist with the Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra. Thomas has represented Australia at the FWCC AWPS Gathering in Bhopal, India in 2008 where he gave a presentation on QSA and in Kenya in 2012. He has organised fundraising events such as concerts and participated in City2Surf Fun Run.
Teacher in Primary and Special Schools. Consultant for students with learning difficulties. Volunteer for Smith Family 'Learning for Life' program.
Currently working as an Occupational Therapist, with particular emphasis on mental health as a chronic condition and care of the elderly. Has also worked in providing sensory integration based therapy for children with difficulties in learning and behaviour, and in other venues as an occupational health and safety officer and trainer.

This experience is supported by membership of Safety Institute of Australia and tertiary qualifications in business, human resources, OH&S as well as training and assessment.
Retired primary and early years teacher. Taught in UK and in International schools in Papua New guinea and Moscow. Helper at monthly QS NSW stall. Participated in study tours to Quaker projects in Bolivia and Cambodia.

Worked as a librarian in Universities and schools for 7 years, then newspaper and magazine journalism for 4 years, followed by 5 years in PR in Federal, State and private enterprises. After completing MA in Environmental Education, she tutored in Professional Communication at QUT's School of Communications and worked as a freelance journalist and editor with a focus on the environment. From 2004 to 2011 was YM Secretary.
Sydney (Blue Mountains)
Masters of Social Science (International Development). Three years experience administering community centre, twelve years on collective of women's health centre, fifteen years experience as medical herbalist.
Personnel officer, safety coordinator for large organisation, role included site inspections, reports, taught safety programmes to workers and management in its many offices, factories and broad spectrum agriculture sites. (retired)

Retired Associate Professor in Chemistry, and Director of 1st year studies at the University of Wollongong. Has experience of teaching in Papua New Guinea and Northern Nigeria at high school and university level.
