Invite a QSA Speaker

Having a guest speaker come to your local group or Quaker Meeting can serve to engage people in the issues our partners face and ask the questions they would like to ask about where there money goes, how do we know when the aid works, and more. We have Speakers available throughout Australia, and would be happy to respond to any request. Please contact us to discuss your request further.

QSA Week at Friends School

The Friends School is a Hobart based co-educational day and boarding school based on Quaker values. Each year the Friends School invites a representative from Quaker Service Australia to join in the festivities of a QSA Week, where student-led activities will increase awareness of important aid and development issues within the school community. This year, from 21 to 23 April, Aletia Dundas will address audiences connected with the school about the work of QSA. For more information about the Friends School, click here.

Health, Wealth and Women

On the week beginning 8th March, International Women's Day, Heather Saville visited Newcastle, Tamworth and Armidale to promote her book "Friends in deed". Heather gave an author talk at Cooks Hill Books and Records in Newcastle, and also addressed Tamworth Rotary, Armidale Library and the University of New England as well as a group of interested Quakers from the Armidale area. If you would like Heather or any other QSA representative to visit your community group, please contact us  and we will arrange a suitable time.
