An urgent appeal from cyclone affected South India. A cyclone in Auroville South India has serverly damaged the Pitchandikulum Bio Resource Centre who are our project partners, Joss Brooks the project manager reports on the damage. Ten roofs have been damaged, two structures destroyed completely, pipelines and power systems damaged…..some $ 15000 will be needed for these repairs. It is the restoration of the forest ,nurseries,gardens and fences that will take much of this year to realize ….Our estimate for tools, fuel(for chain saws and tractors ), and labor is $ 75000. This is an appeal to any friend of Pitchandikulam and its vision and work, to help bring back the beauty of our forest garden, so that it can be enjoyed again as a place of reverence for nature and the spirit of restoration and the manifestation of light in the physical …..
