Therese Douglas

Chair
Has extensive experience in running community based development projects in Australia. Served on numerous community development committees and management committees , including previously for QSA. With her family, volunteered in Papua New Guinea for two years with Australian Volunteers Abroad.

Rae Litting

Deputy Chair
Understanding of cross cultural issues from professional and lived experience . Has published QSA material in the Australian Friend and served on numerous Quaker Committees, including QSA Management Committee from 1999 – 2002.

David Carter

Lawyer, academic and expert in medical and health law.  David is a Scientia Associate Professor at the University of NSW where he leads the Health and Law Research Partnership which aims to improve access to justice and quality of life for those living with Hepatitis B or HIVin Australia by removing legal barriers to testing and treatment.

Paul Carter

Convenor Finance Committee

Brings a wealth of experience and expertise in project management and business practises.  He is convenor of the Finance Committee where he is overseeing the move to improved financial systems.

Aletia Dundas

International Development professional with over 15 years’ working with civil society organisations in the Pacific and globally.  Through her work and lived beliefs she is an advocate for systemic and social change through seeking just outcomes for all.

Chris McMillan

Passionate about International Development – people and planet. He has worked in International Development since 2013. Originally through World Vision Senegal and, more recently, through the social enterprise, Gaïa, that he founded in Senegal.

Some of QSA’s projects are also funded by Australian Aid via the ANCP funding program from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT).
